You've been in a relationship with this man for three years. It's Christmas time and he has to go out of town for work. The usual but this time it was a last minute thing. All of your family lives out-of-state so you had no plans until your home-girl invited you over for a Holiday Gathering at a one of her friends family's house. So, of course you accept because let's face it... No one wants to be alone for the holidays.
When you arrived at the Gathering, immediately the food was smelling good, music was playing and the overall ambiance was nice and comfortable. The folks were already treating you like one of the family. And, all is well. A couple of hours pass by and everyone is having a great time when the door bell rings.
And... in walks your man with his wife and kids.
Now, that truth will make you go crazy.
Honesty & Truth!
Many people fear it. Some don't understand the concept. Most can't accept it. And, the others don't respect it. What is it about these two words that make so many people behave so strangely?
Let's flip it for a minute and say... You were dating this guy for two weeks and he decided to be honest and came out with truth. The truth and honesty will set you free by giving you the option to decide on whether or not you would like to continue a relationship with this man knowing his circumstances. Shoot.. you may have some circumstances of your own that would make a relationship like this a perfect fit for you. I don't know. I don't judge.
What would you have done in this situation?
